We designed the event and selected a harmonious group of influencers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland who focus on nature, architecture and interior design. The hotels and also Switzerland were thus communicated in a multi-faceted manner through personal stories on the social web. The hashtag #WhereRadissonBluTakesUs combined the experiences of the influencers, and the community was able to actively follow the journey.
The weekend was very well organised – you did a great job there! I loved how different but complimentary the influencers were, each with their own photography style and eye. That was wonderfully curated. The hotels were great and super well located too, and the fact that Radisson Blu asked for us to bring a plus one made this even more special!
We designed the three-day event according to the Instagrammers' focal points and integrated locations such as Uetliberg mountain, the University of Zurich's modern library and the Zurich Christmas Market at night. The influencers published 102 posts during the trip, reaching 1.7 million followers. This outcome is particularly impressive, as the contributions were published on a completely voluntary basis. The images generated more than 17 million impressions on Instagram and @radissonblu notched up 370 new followers, representing an increase of 2% within just twelve days.
It was one of the best Instameets I ever attended. It was well organised. RadissonBlu spoiled us with luxury and we felt very welcome. Also the organisation of visumate was pretty awesome, thanks so much again. Great group of people!
Thanks to visumate for our first joint influencer project which we successfully launched in November 2016 in Switzerland. The campaign #WhereRadissonBluTakesUs was shaped by visumate's expertise in influencer outreach. It was the perfect way to tell our story to the world. We are looking forward to a long-term partnership for new exciting projects in 2017!
